The hermetic air-tight design prevents product oxidation and foaming, ensuring the highest quality skim milk and cream for further processing into dairy products.

Working Principle in Dairy Processing

Pre-warmed raw milk enters the hermetic bowl through a sealed inlet and flows into the disc stack. Under high centrifugal force, the heavier skim milk migrates outward while the lighter cream layer forms concentrically inward. The hermetic design eliminates the air-liquid interface, dramatically reducing shear forces on delicate fat globules. Skim milk exits through the outer centripetal pump for standardization or further processing, while cream exits through the inner centripetal pump at controlled fat content (adjustable from 35-45%). Sludge (somatic cells, udder tissue residues, dust) accumulates in the solids holding space and is automatically discharged through partial ejection cycles.
